These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern use of the AutiLearn Android app and the autilearnkids.cc website (together, the "Service"), provided by AutiLearn ("AutiLearn," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Who can create an account
Accounts are created by adults — parents, caregivers, or support partners — on behalf of a child. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create a parent or support partner account. Children use the app's Learn, Play, Talk, and Practice tools without creating an account of their own.
Medical disclaimer
AutiLearn is an educational and communication support tool. It is not a medical device, and it is not a diagnostic tool. It does not replace professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your child's care.
Content you create
Parents and support partners are responsible for the content they create within AutiLearn — including custom Talk cards built with Board Builder, photos captured with Practice Camera, session notes, and Skill Node customizations. You agree not to upload content that violates someone else's privacy or rights, and to only capture photos of individuals you have the right to photograph and use within the app.
Support Partner accounts
By creating a support partner account, you represent that you have permission from the child's parent or guardian to enter guidance and notes into AutiLearn on behalf of a linked family.
Acceptable use
You agree to use AutiLearn only for its intended purpose of supporting a child's learning and communication, and not to misuse the Service, attempt to access accounts you are not linked to, or interfere with the Service's normal operation.
Intellectual property
The AutiLearn app, website, and underlying design and vocabulary content are owned by us. Content you create yourself — such as custom Talk cards, Skill Node customizations, or session notes — remains yours. Most of this content is stored locally on your device rather than on our servers; where any of it is transmitted through the Service (for example, sent as a message), you grant us the right to process it solely to deliver that feature.
Account termination and deletion
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. See our Account & Data Deletion page for instructions. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is," and we make no guarantee of specific educational or developmental outcomes.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where AutiLearn's operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as AutiLearn evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
